The pro you hire is the one who shows up, sets pricing, and warranties their workmanship.
Every pro in our network is screened before joining: we verify state licensing where required, confirm active general liability insurance, run background checks, and review their work history and online reputation. We also continuously monitor customer feedback — pros who fall below our standards are removed from the network.
For non-emergency requests, expect to hear from 1–3 matched pros within a few hours during normal business hours, and typically by the next business day if you submit overnight or on weekends. For emergencies (burst pipes, no heat, active water damage), our 24/7 network is built to respond within an hour in most metro areas — though exact response times depend on pro availability in your ZIP code.
Yes — when you mark a request as Emergency, we route it to pros in our 24/7 emergency network and prioritize fast response. For life-safety issues (gas leaks, electrical fires, major flooding), please call 911 or your utility first, then submit a request for follow-up repair work.
Our network covers the contiguous United States, with the strongest pro coverage in major metros and suburbs. Coverage in rural areas can be thinner — enter your ZIP during the request and we'll let you know if we're unable to find a match.
Using TrustyFix is free for homeowners — there's no fee, markup, or obligation to hire. Pros in our network pay us a small lead fee, which is built into their normal business overhead, not added to your quote. You'll receive estimates directly from each matched pro and you choose who to hire (or none).
Many pros in our network offer their own financing for larger projects like solar, roofing, bathroom remodels, and HVAC replacement. Financing terms, lenders, and approval are handled directly between you and the pro — TrustyFix doesn't issue loans or credit.

We'll match your request with up to 3 qualified pros in your area, and they'll reach out directly with quotes. Most quotes for standard work are free; some specialty diagnostics may carry a small fee that the pro will disclose upfront.
Three things: stricter vetting (license + insurance + background check + ongoing performance review), no auto-share of your info — your details only go to the matched pros, never sold to third parties, and editorial cost guides researched by our team and reviewed by a licensed master contractor so you know what fair pricing looks like before you talk to anyone.
Workmanship warranties come from the pro you hire, not from TrustyFix — so always confirm warranty terms in writing before work starts. If a pro from our network doesn't deliver as promised, contact us at [email protected]. We take complaints seriously and use them to remove underperforming pros from the network.
